How Credit Score works
Eight steps, start to finish — what actually happens each time you check your score. Only one step costs money; the rest are free.
Log in and open your report
Log in with your mobile number and OTP, then open the Report tab (Credit Score on the website). New here? Your account is created when you verify the OTP.
Tell us who you are — once
First time only: your name, PAN, date of birth and address. Returning next month? This whole step is skipped — you go straight to your score.
We confirm your PAN is really yours
A one-time check with the bureau. Once it passes, your PAN and date of birth are locked to your account for good — nobody, including you, can quietly swap in someone else's PAN later.
We pull your score from Experian
Your details go straight to the credit bureau and the answer comes straight back — no waiting, no "check back later." It happens in the few seconds you're looking at a loading spinner.
See your score — free, always
A number from 300–900, plus a plain-English rating (Poor to Excellent). This much never costs anything, no matter how often you look.
Want the whole picture? Unlock it
The only paying step in this journey. For a one-time ₹35, paid securely through Cashfree, every loan and card, your full payment history, and anything worth a second look get unlocked.
Explore it, or take it with you
Browse every account and payment right there in the app, or download the same report as a PDF to keep, print or share — however you'd rather read it.
One free score check every month
Come back after 30 days and refresh your score again at no cost. This only refreshes the number — it creates a fresh report that starts locked again, so unlocking its full details still costs ₹35, same as the first time.
